The closest Airports are JFK and Newark. LaGuardia is a bit more of a hassle because of frequent delays. Use Penn Station for rail as from Penn Station you can get anywhere in the New York City area by subway or Taxi. As far as driving here, parking is almost impossible and parking garages are expensive. I would not recommend driving in the city, but rather use the subways and Taxi/Uber.
